"The best secondary clarifier on the market"
This is the only style of clarifier that can handle poor settling or bulking sludge. With a flat floor you limit the sludge movement to no more than 5′-6′, giving the operator the best chance to keep microbes in the process basin treating the wastewater. Unlike other clarifier floors allowing the microbes the lounge on the bottom.
Scum is removed inside the inlet well and sent to sludge handling. Any scum that escapes the inlet well is removed by full diameter troughs and a spray bar. Scum removal is a key step in the clarifier process.
